1934 Packard V12 Dietrich Front Fender Buck
The Job was to develop fender bucks from laser scans of a set of damaged fenders
We used profile and front images of good fenders to develop the shape and dimensions of the damaged areas. Their dimensions were projected to the laser scans for evaluation and corrections

Laser Scan of damaged fenders
Notice the changes to the buck to reflect the correct shape of the fender

We work directly with the coachbuilder to determine station locations and clearance pockets to make it easier for them to build the parts

Special removable front stations were developed to locate the edge of the fender profile

Final design submitted to the coachbuilder for approval before cutting.
